Just Stop

I want you to know that when
your name pops up on my
phone and I open your
ridiculously long message,
I don't read it the way
you want me to. I'm sure
you picture me looking over
what you've written and
seeing how thoughtful it
is, all the good things
about you, and how far you
must've come since we ended.

The truth is, when I read
what you've written, my
body fills with disgust and
I hate myself for the time
I've lost. You had 2 years
of my life. The years people
warn you are the good ones
and will never get back, so
make the most of them.

So please, just stop. I
don't want to hear what
you have to say.
